Match Selection and Pre-Match Setup
The first step is to choose the match from the schedule. On the left side of the screen you will find all Betfair exchange markets: live, finished and upcoming matches. Selecting a match (for example Torino vs Parma) activates the system.
The user selects the market and enters either a fixed stake or a maximum liability. If they decide to risk €100 on the draw, the system automatically calculates the exact stake required and records it in the matrix.

Cover Management (Hedging)
It is often necessary to hedge in order to limit losses. Strategy Trend greatly simplifies this hedging process. By selecting a market, the system asks where you want to place the cover.
Practical example: I have laid the draw. I select the "Correct Score 1-1" market and click cover the draw. The software calculates the exact stake to back 1-1 in order to completely eliminate the risk of the initial lay. No manual calculation, no margin of error.

Live Management with the Step Function

If a goal is scored, the situation changes radically. This is where the Step function comes into play: the user clicks on the current score (e.g. 1-0) and creates a new time-based "step". On that score, they can decide to add new operations — for example backing Over 3.5 with €30 as additional cover.
The system automatically merges pre-match bets with live bets, showing the aggregate financial position in the matrix. Unlimited steps can be added for every score change. A step can also be triggered automatically when a specific odds level is reached.
