Advanced Money Management Systems
BetSolver has many capital management strategies: conservative methods or more complex progressions. Each system is accompanied by automated risk analysis and an explanation of how it works. Before choosing, you can read about the advantages and operational use.
Fixed Stake
The simplest strategy: you always bet a fixed amount (e.g. £10) regardless of the previous outcome. Advantages: Low and predictable risk. Ideal for: Beginners and live trading.
Percentage Staking
Bet a fixed percentage of your current bankroll. The stake increases if you win and decreases if you lose, protecting your capital. Formula: Stake = (Bankroll × %) / 100.
Kelly Criterion 👑
The professional method par excellence. Calculates the optimal stake based on probability and odds. Advantages: Maximises long-term bankroll growth. Caution: Requires an accurate estimate of the probabilities chosen by the user.
Martingale
Double your stake after each loss to recover everything with a single win. Risk: Very high. Only suitable for experts and gamblers.
Fibonacci
Uses the golden ratio (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8...) to increase the stake after losses more gradually than Martingale. Feature: Each win takes you back two steps in the sequence.
D'Alembert
Add 1 unit if you lose, remove 1 unit if you win. It is a linear progression that is much safer than the previous ones. Risk: Low.

Shield Progression
The Shield progression is found in a specific section. Shield is an advanced progression with the option to choose your own level of risk and bookmaker or exchange mode. All the chosen parameters are entered into the progression, including the level of risk, what to do after winning, and the entry stake.
It is a conservative progression that adapts to all betting or trading styles.
You can select three different modes after winning, namely:
- Instant: return to the initial stake regardless of the loss.
- Progressive: after a win, it gradually decreases based on the number of steps chosen.
- Continuous: it changes based on a configurable percentage.
This progression is for active ScoreTrend customers.
